against the "3 year model" rule,
thought the current rules were in place till 2010
Hopefully whatever rules are agreed on increase the numbers and dont diminish the field more than what we have now.

Short extruded purpose built racing skis are the way to go, The fans know that a machine can be stock and run these parts. A stocker is hard enough to drive compared to a champ style machine and the trail skis are a step backward I think, and as for a 'Driver control problem" my opinion is the more you have hanging out there the more potential for a problem there is.(kind of like in college) Also driving over the top of them aint that bad, its when a long ski gets driven under the tunnel enclosure and rips up a 600.00 track and tears up the skid until it grinds to a hault and it will get under there as ive been there and it takes several people to pull apart . JMO

Also; what a show the junior and sprint racers put on! they had some of the closest and best racing of the day, this is defitnatly the future and best hope for this great sport of ice oval sprint racing and its my opinion that we cant make any mistakes to drive racers away from the junior and sprint classes. Let the stock rules fall where they may and hopefully it will work and not be eliminated ( if they revert back to 2000 era rules, I will have close to 3000.00 worth of unusable parts but will change just to race). I cant think of a sled that the fans can relate to more than a stocker but some feel differently. I think its some of the closest racing of the weekend as most times all the competiors are on the same straitaway or nose to tail after ten laps. This rules change could be entering trecherous waters as I can see it going the way of the F-111 deal and the fans loved those days but if that MFGs. want a different foremat at the venues we must change for the overall betterment. The new Revs, Iqs,and Yamahas (although the 4 stroke/displacement rule needs some tweeking, a sled that weighs 500 plus pounds and goes over a 100 MPH on the straight but cant turn and runs over people aint safe) are a great machine to race and hopefully someone will get the new Cat out there as it did well in Cross country.
SAVE THE STOCKERS AND BET THE FARM ON JUNIORS AND SPRINT the Champ sleds speak for themselves as they rule! JMO

FSN
Caught the back half of the McGreggor Oval race sunday morning on FSN and it looked good, hope there is a replay at somepoint so I can see it in its entirety. I have not seen the earlier races though, and could not find any help on the FSN website search feature as to the schedule.

Faithfully married for 12 years!
Oh also, I was 21 22years ago and am still runnin up in the pack!,my kids are almost as old as some of the racers I compete with.

Aren't you married??? Why do you always seem to be hitting on the younger girls and following them around like a lost puppy?? and when i say younger like the he18 - 25 year olds.

Actually Ive called several times midweek and sent a letter with photocopys of my post dated checks and still no response.I say keep it if you need it. None of my pro stock points have been scored and some points of others that have been scored are not correct (Im not the only one that has noticed). It just seems there is more of a profit oriented agenda rather than trying to build the sport,charging 17,000 to promote a race seems a bit steep.please make full discloure of each races promo fee's costs ins. and payout (actual) I know ya need to cover but running clubs outa biz cant be good.

Northwoods; We also watched the USCC race on FSN very well done. What happened to the OVAL RACES that were promised to be aired on FSN? Where did the 6500.00$ several people paid go? Is USSA running the Rock Rapids Race next Dec.? Just want a few answers as many teams that put down the money want some return for their own sponsors, hope this all works out as it is starting to look not so good, help me out I hope im wrong. Maybe someone could bring Pat Mach on board, He's done great with the USCC and seems to get things accomplished and it seems the Factorys,sponsors and others are taking note, Hell even some oval racers are head'n over. Prolly doesnt write bounced checks to the racers either.

Post pardom racing season disorder
How do you deal with the end of the race season?
Im not in the shop til midnight every night...
I dont hide parts receipts from my wife any more...
I dont know what to do with the extra money from not spending 300.00 in fuel each week...
The back of my hand quit bleeding from tighting studs...
I dont start loading the trailer Wednesday night anymore...
My kids have grown since December...
Alcohol is my only freind...
It just seems faster on the jackstand...

Oh and if it means anything; the best racers are in the West,Just look at the podiums through out the results at Eagle. And they crash less and are usually not the cause of crashes! Hope I havent offended any with my honest opinion, if I have I am somewhat sorry.
